In Their Own Words
These are honest accounts. The responses and timelines vary, as do real cases.
Prawit Phongsakul
Retired, Bangkok
"I had been going back and forth with my former employer's pension department for almost two years without getting anywhere. A friend suggested I speak to Phithak. The consultation was the first time someone actually explained my position to me properly. They drafted a formal letter on my behalf and the matter was resolved within six weeks. I wish I had come sooner."

Somchai Rattanakun
Former civil servant, Nonthaburi
"My pension transfer had stalled for months and I did not know where to turn. I contacted Phithak after seeing their website. They were very calm and patient with me — I had a lot of questions and they answered every one of them. The correspondence service was the right choice for my situation and the outcome was better than I expected."

Nipa Pornwilai
Daughter of a retired teacher, Chiang Mai
"My mother was having difficulties with her pension after my father passed away. We were worried and did not know what we were entitled to. Phithak handled the matter over several months with real care — they kept both my mother and me informed throughout and never made us feel that we were bothering them. The fact that family could be involved meant a lot."

Wanchai Charoenphon
Factory worker, Samut Prakan
"I was not sure I needed a lawyer at first — the consultation helped me understand that I did. The price was reasonable and they explained what it covered before taking any payment. My case was more involved than we first thought, but they kept me informed throughout without making the situation feel worse than it was."

Malee Klomkham
Retired nurse, Bangkok
"I only needed the consultation — just to understand where I stood. It was worth every baht. The lawyer was very clear and did not use complicated language. I left feeling settled, which I had not felt for a while. I told my sister about Phithak straight away."

Thep Suthiwong
Retired bank officer, Pathum Thani
"The sustained care service covered a difficult period — we had a dispute about my pension benefits following early retirement. Phithak represented me through the whole process, including a tribunal appearance. It took longer than any of us wanted, but the team was honest about that from the start. I would recommend them to anyone in a similar position."

Case Summaries
A closer look at how three different client situations were approached and resolved.
Case Study 01 — Correspondence Service
Unpaid Pension Contributions Following Employment Dispute
The Situation
A 61-year-old client in Bangkok believed his employer had failed to make the correct pension fund contributions over a five-year period. He had raised it informally but received no satisfactory response.
What We Did
Following an initial consultation, we drafted a formal demand letter to the employer referencing the relevant provisions of the Social Security Act and Labour Protection Act, with a clear response deadline.
The Outcome
The employer responded within three weeks and a settlement covering the outstanding contributions was reached without proceeding to formal proceedings. Timeline: approximately 7 weeks.
"I was quite worried about confronting the company directly. Having a properly written letter made a real difference to how they responded."
Case Study 02 — Consultation Service
Understanding Survivor Pension Entitlements
The Situation
A widow in her late fifties contacted us after her husband passed away. She was uncertain whether she was entitled to any portion of his pension from a private company fund and found the documents overwhelming.
What We Did
We conducted a consultation, reviewing the pension fund documents she had received and explaining what she was likely entitled to claim as a surviving spouse. Her daughter attended as well.
The Outcome
She left with a clear written summary of her entitlements and the steps to make a claim directly. No further legal support was needed. She submitted the claim herself and it was processed successfully.
"The meeting gave my mother and me the confidence to move forward on our own. Sometimes you just need someone who understands to explain things properly."
Case Study 03 — Sustained Legal Care
Disputed Early Retirement Pension Reduction
The Situation
A 58-year-old client disputed a significant reduction to his pension following early retirement. The former employer's fund trustee argued the reduction was within the rules; the client disagreed.
What We Did
We took on full representation, reviewed the fund rules and employment contract, filed a formal objection with the fund committee, and subsequently represented the client at a Labour Court hearing.
The Outcome
The Labour Court found in favour of the client on the central point of dispute. A revised pension was agreed, with a partial retroactive payment. Duration of matter: approximately nine months.
"A nine-month process is not easy, but Phithak kept me informed and I never felt lost. They were honest about the uncertainties throughout, which I respected."
